The Ball Chair was designed by Finnish furniture designer Eero Aarnio in 1963. The design was based on the simplest geometric form - the ball. By cutting off a part and fixing it at one point Eero Aarnio comes to a remarkable result - a completely unconventional shaped chair.
The Ball Chair is often dubbed a "room within a room" and has a cozy and calm atmosphere, protecting from outside noises and giving a private space for relaxing. The entire chair swivels easily on its own axis, allowing the user to alter the view to the outer world.
It's shell is made from sold fibreglass and measures 102cm wide, 92cm deep, 120cm high.
